Football Legend Visits Dublin Show!

Peter Beardsley, ex England, Liverpool and Newcastle United football legend was in attendance at the Dublin Holiday World Show 2009 which took place from 23–25 January 2009.
Malcolm Sempey (Managing Director of Cookstown Caravans Limited and a life long Liverpool fan) got to meet his idol following a radio interview given by Peter from inside a Lunar Quasar Caravan.
Lunar’s Irish retailers Cookstown Caravans and LPC Caravans were attending the Dublin Holiday World Show 2009 at the Dublin RDS for the first time, following their success at the Belfast Caravan, Camping & Outdoors Show at Kings Hall, Belfast the previous week.
Malcolm commented “The show halls were busy and sales positive at both venues, and the strength of the Euro against the current pound made interest at the Dublin show particularly buoyant. Meeting Peter Beardsley was the icing on the cake after two successful weekends”.
