Successful October Show for Lunar

Thu 23rd Oct 2008

Lunar Caravans are this week pleased to announce another successful NEC show after selling caravans and motorhomes with a retail value of more than £3.25 million at the International Caravan and Motorhome 2008, NEC, Birmingham

Lunar had on show five brand new caravan models and two new motorhomes at the show, all of which received great reviews and sold well.

The Quasar 626 made its show debut at the NEC. This 6-berth, fixed bed, side dinette layout offers a large amount of space to a family that wants the added luxury of a fixed bed. Paul Martland, Design Manager for Lunar says “we are very proud of what we have achieved with the Quasar 626, we have worked hard to make a perfect caravan for large families that want a fixed bed, whilst creating a light and airy feel throughout the whole of the caravan that follows the same theme as the entire Quasar range”. On the motorhome stand the stunning new Goldstar 650, fixed bed went down well with people loving the new fixed bed layout in this popular range.

Lunar are also celebrating their success following a number of Awards at the show. Lunar picked up EIGHT awards in total winning the Practical Caravan 2009 ‘Best Caravan for Ralliers category’ with the ever popular Lunar Quasar 462 and the Lunar Roadstar 900 runner up in the Caravan Industry Motor Caravan of the year Award.

Martin Henderson, Sales and Marketing Director for Lunar says “with the successful management buyout of Lunar nearly 12 month’s ago, and all of the hard work that has been put in for the 2009 season, the success of the show has given us all optimism for another great season ahead. It is great to see that even in these tougher economic times the British love affair for caravanning has not faltered”
