FAQs
Warranty
What warranty does my caravan have?
All our caravans are supplied with a six year body shell integrity warranty and a three year manufactures back warranty from the date of purchase.
What is covered within the warranty?
The six year body shell integrity warranty relates to Body Leaks & Delamination. For the first twelve months of the Lunar Manufacturers warranty will cover all components and parts and faults arising from manufacturing defects but not those that are the result of normal wear and tear or those that relate to Tyres, Bulbs and Fluorescent Tubes & Fuses.
For 2nd & 3rd Year covers extends to the Cooker, Fridge, Water Systems, Cassette Toilet, Auxillary Electrics, Heating System, Chassis, Towing Mechanism, Breaking System (the warranty does not cover damage to break drums, shows or any faults caused through misuse of the braking system or normal wear and tear).
Can I extend my Lunar Warranty?
No. The Lunar manufacturers warranty cannot be extended, however most dealers do offer the opportunity to purchase an extended insurance backed warranty at time of purchase.
Can the warranty on my caravan be transferred?
Yes, your warranty can be transferred. An administration fee of £25 is charge. On page 19/20 of your Service Handbook is a Change of Ownership Form, which should be completed and sent to Lunar with payment.
Who can carry out warranty work on my Lunar Caravan?
Any NCC or Lunar Approved Dealer can undertake warranty work.
If I have a problem with my caravan who should I contact?
In the first instance we would always advise that you contact your supplying retailer, however if this is not convenient then any Lunar Approved Dealer will undertake an inspection of your caravan and any necessary action.
Does my caravan have to have a yearly service?
Yes. In order to comply with the terms and conditions you must have your caravan serviced at yearly intervals. Failure to do so invalidates your Lunar Warranty.
I am having trouble booking my caravan in for its yearly service, what should I do?
We allow 60 days either side of the caravan anniversary date (purchase date) for servicing to be undertaken.
