Lunar And Venus Emerge Triumphant at the 2014 Caravan Club Awards

The 2014 Caravan Club Design Awards and the Lightweight Leisure Trailer Awards took place last week during The Motorhome & Caravan Show with Lunar emerging triumphant in two leading categories. At a glittering awards ceremony staged at The Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, the industry’s finest gathered to hear the results of the annual caravan ‘Oscars’.
Lunar scooped first place in the Two Berth Caravan £17,000 - £20,000 category, with the Lunar Lexon 470. New for 2014, the flexible two berth Lexon 470 is both lightweight and spacious. It provides a roomy front lounge seating area, a high specification kitchen which has been restyled with glossy cream splash backs, a modern black faucet and stylish new appliances. The Lexon also offers a very large end washroom, beautiful ‘Cavani’ soft furnishings and a large front gas locker compartment. The Lexon 470 is available from £17,995.
In the Lightweight Leisure Trailer Awards, the Venus 380/2 was crowned winner in the Caravans Between 750kg and 1090kg category. The Venus 380/2 has been redesigned for 2014. The two berth 380/2 now has two front single beds and a new worktop extension which offers a generous amount of additional kitchen space. The kitchen is well equipped with high specification appliances. The Venus 380/2 also offers, full size overhead locker storage and elegant 'Nassau' furnishings that is both modern and light. The Venus 380/2 is priced at just £11,595.
