Lunar Clubman / Delta Achieves Outstanding Results

The launch of Lunar’s new lightweight luxury collection and “Welcome to Lightweight Luxury” branding helped the company to achieve outstanding sales of £7 million at the International Caravan and Motorhome Show at the NEC, Birmingham.

The 2011 collection was showcased by 21 stunning caravans including the 7 models from the indulgent and sumptuous Clubman / Delta range which proudly achieved 53% of the sales. The star of the show was the new Clubman SB, which is the perfect symphony of a spacious fixed single bed layout with luxurious specification beyond compare.

Martin Henderson, Sales and Marketing Director for Lunar says, “with achieving such a successful show last October and facing what continues to be a testing economic climate, we knew that it was going to be a challenge to build on our success. It’s therefore absolutely fantastic to achieve another outstanding sales result.”

It has further delighted the Lunar team to see both new and revised models being really well received by the press and the public. Lunar proudly won two of the four Practical Caravan’s Tourer of the Year Awards. The Quasar 556 was voted ‘Best Van for Large Families’ and the Delta TI got the prize for ‘Best Seasonal Caravan’. New model, the Clubman SB, was also shortlisted in the ‘Best Caravan for Couples’ category. The Delta TI also continued to shine by winning the ‘Whale Award for Innovation’ at the Caravan Industry Awards.
