Lunar Trade Event Showcases Lighter More Luxurious Caravans
Thu 21st Jul 2011
Lunar Caravan’s trade launch of their eagerly anticipated collection for 2012 is reported to have been a great success. The three day event saw the grand unveiling of four innovative new models alongside new interior and exterior designs.
The new collection for 2012, consisting of 23 models, has been designed with a passion for reducing weights while continuing to focus on quality and durability. Guests were invited to see the new 5 berth fixed bunk Delta FB, which offers the ultimate family living space, and the new 2 berth Lexon 420 with a spacious end washroom at less than 1200kg MTPLM. Lunar were also proud to introduce the unique 4 berth end washroom Lexon 520 and the compact 4 berth Quasar 494, which is a shorter, lighter model with an end washroom.
Lunar’s commitment to lightweight luxury was reflected by the range of stylish and modern enhancements that have been introduced. New domestic styled kitchens boast ample lighting and storage while spacious bathrooms, with a cleverly re-designed shower, provide an extra homely feel.
The trade event also highlighted Lunar’s focus on their product’s green credentials. With models across the range significantly reduced in weight, the entire collection has been developed with full interior LED lighting and an Eco-Camel shower-head that uses up to 20% less water yet maintains a really high pressure.
Martin Henderson, Sales and Marketing Director, said,
“We are really pleased at how well our new product has been received. The response to our new models and the enhancements we have introduced for the 2012 season has been immense.
This current season has seen some strong competition in the marketplace so we have worked extremely closely with retailers, suppliers, press and customers to ensure we develop a product that exceeds a caravanner’s every need. We are now very much looking forward to the Lawns show which will be our first public launch ”
