Lunar Wins Manufacturing Award for Improved Efficiency

Lancashire manufacturer, Lunar Caravans, have won an award for their compelling example of lean manufacturing practices that have yielded impressive results in efficiency.
The team at Lunar accepted their ‘Sustaining Lean’ award at the prestigious Yorkshire Productivity Awards 2012, hosted at the Marriott Leeds hotel. Nominated companies, from across the North of England, attended the awards which are designed to denote significant efficiency improvements amongst manufacturing companies.
Lunar’s Chairman and CEO, Brian Mellor, says; “I am immensely proud of the Lunar team and the results that have been achieved since the investment in Business Improvement Techniques training. The skills that our team have developed through this training have played a crucial role in driving forward innovation and efficiency in manufacturing at Lunar Caravans.”
