Lunars Exciting New Retail Partnerships

Fri 2nd Sep 2011

Lunar have teamed up with 4 new exciting retail outlets for the 2012 season. These new partnerships are part of a long term strategy to drive forward the Lunar brand which now commands over 12% market share.

In Devon, the prestigious Stowford Farm Meadows will have a second Lunar outlet at their Caravan Centre in Combe Martin. This outlet is part of their award winning touring and camping park and has become one of the South West’s largest caravan retailers. For the 2012 season they will offer a great selection of new Lunar Caravans which will be complemented by their unique customer ‘handover’ experience. The site, which was established in 1978, has been continually developed by the family to offer a comprehensive range of services. These include gold award caravan storage, a comprehensive caravan accessory shop and an NCC approved workshop.

Andrew Noall of Stowford says, “We have seen how the Lunar brand has strengthened in recent times and has increased its’ market share.  We are delighted to be showcasing Lunar in North Devon in 2012 as well as at our new Caravan Centre in South Wales and are looking forward to a successful relationship with Lunar in the coming years.”

Moving across to Wales, Ennis Caravans will be showcasing the 2012 Lunar collection from their new site in Swansea. Ennis, who already have a Lunar retail outlet in Llanelli, have created an impressive indoor showroom to stock a large selection of new Lunar models.

Shaun Ennis from Ennis Caravans says; “Our new site has been designed to ‘wow’ our customers and reinforce our promise of helping them to find their ideal caravan. Purchasing a new caravan can be a very overwhelming experience. Our new showroom stocks a wide selection of Lunar caravans, with layouts to suit couples up to large families.  It is also staffed with an extremely knowledgeable team who understand every aspect of touring. We believe that the professional and friendly shopping experience this new outlet provides will strengthen our position as a Lunar retailer.”

Heading north to Ulverston, we are proud to announce that Bardsea Leisure have joined our retailer network.  In 1984, the Varley family transformed their site to offer a very high standard of service. This has been recognised by the readers of Caravan Times who voted them ‘Dealer of the Year 2010’.
Bardsea Leisure also offer a beautiful leisure park and onsite workshop and accessory store.

In Scotland, Lunar has teamed up with Greenbank Caravans. Established over 40 years ago on a 4.5 acre site on the outskirts of Fraserburgh in the North East of Scotland, they offer a range of new and used caravans and motor homes alongside servicing and storage facilities. Having changed owners 5 months ago they have already been awarded with NCC Approved workshop status and are at present working on improving our storage facilities and once completed they intend a complete refurbish and double in size of our accessory shop.

Steve Donnelly of Greenbank Caravans says; “When we bought over Greenbank Caravans in late March this year, our first objective was to get a new franchise onboard at Greenbank and the manufacturer at the top of our list was Lunar, as we felt they were leading the way on lightweight luxury touring caravans. So we are delighted to have them onboard with us.”
